Site License Information

The CD Sheet Music, LLC family of CD-ROM products consists of three series.

CD Sheet Music™ (62 titles) makes available editions of published music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Early Modern periods encompassing a wide range of genres: symphonic, ensemble, strings, piano, organ, voice, and opera.

The Digital Editions™ makes available reprints of scholarly collected editions and currently offers the collected works of Bach (18000+ pages) and Beethoven (9000+ pages), as well as the 1911 edition of Grove’s Dictionary (4400+ pages).

The Orchestra Musician’s CD-ROM Library™ (9 Volumes) makes available the original orchestral parts from the great symphonic repertoire currently comprising over 600 masterworks from the Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods available on individual CDRs for violin, viola, cello, bass, flute (piccolo), oboe (english horn), clarinet, bassoon (contra bassoon), horn, trumpet, low brass, timpani/percussion and harp/keyboard (includes available parts for harp, organ, piano, guitar, saxophone etc.). The purchase of a complete set of any Volume includes all parts for each work enabling performance.

Taken together, these three encyclopedic collections total over 250,000 pages of sheet music and present in large measure two hundred years of western classical music.

A site license for all three CD SHEET MUSIC LLC collections (CD Sheet Music™, The Digital Editions™, and The Orchestra Musician’s CD-ROM Library™ allows the posting of the entire contents to a school or library computer network. Authorized users will be able to view and print all files on PC or Macintosh computers. Benefits of obtaining a comprehensive site license include:

To qualify for a site license, the purchase of a complete set of all three series (currently181 CD-ROMs) is required. Individual titles can be purchased from any music store or online source, which currently represents a total investment of $3807.95. Previously purchased titles in any series can be deducted from completing the total purchase of the entire collection. As CD Sheet Music, LLC releases new products, licensee shall have the right to purchase these titles and add them to this agreement.

Upon verification of purchase, the site license itself costs $25 per year for each authorized member of the institution (e.g. student, faculty member, library member, etc.). This rate is guaranteed for licenses entered into in the year 2007, and may be changed in future years. One year, five year and ten year licenses are available.
